ENROLLMENT GENERAL INFORMATION

How do I enroll in Preppy K and Kindergarten?

To register a new student you must complete an online enrollment on the district website by clicking here.

When is Choice Transfer?

The district offers a Choice Transfer period once a year, typically in January. Interested families may complete a School Choice Transfer Request online in the Aeries Parent Portal (instructions below) or receive in-person assistance completing the online request at the PYLUSD Student Services office located at 1301 E. Orangethorpe Ave, Placentia, CA 92870. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
 

For Returning/Previously Enrolled Students (Most Common)

  1. Log in to the Aeries Parent Portal.
  2. Click on the student you would like to submit a School Choice Transfer Request. 
  3. Be sure you have selected the correct student.
  4. Click Student Info.
  5. Click on the School Choice Transfer Request Form.
  6. Complete the request.
  7. Repeat for every student as necessary.

PLEASE NOTE: Siblings of students currently on a Choice Transfer to Brookhaven are not automatically approved. They must apply for a transfer. Once a student is granted a transfer it is good through 8th grade. Choice transfers can only be submitted at the school district.
